Urban Regeneration - Salford (Boot Camp 2010)

For my the Creative Future Enterprises trip to Latvia, me and the ten other University of Salford students have been asked to produce a presentation about our country and Salford and how Urban Regeneration has, or will affect the area.I was given the task of looking at the history of Salford and I decided to look at one building in particular on Chapel Street- The Old Bank Theatre. After speaking to some locals I found out that the building used to be a pub, and before that a cinema. And that in a few years everything on the street will be made into restaurants, cafes, bars etc.I liked this building because of its peeling paint, distressed surface and beautiful architecture. There are some pictures of it below: If anyone has any more information on this building I would love to know.
