Pam Moxley: Contemporary Mixed Media Art
Pam Moxley is a self taught artist who combines two of my favourite things: mixed media and photography. Today I'd like to share with you her beautiful sepia toned images that are made up of a series of image transfers to make one whole image. She describes her work as being 'simple in composition but complex in theme'. Her work is inspired by her four children and watching them grow up.
Her technique combines multiple layers of paint, image transfer processes and then is finished with a high gloss resin.
Her work is currently held in many private and public collections throughout the United States.What i personally love about her work is its ethereal quality and poignant subject matter.
