Paper Projections, Experimental Installations

An experiment using handmade paper and digital projections to test out how a larger installation might work. I used my archive of family photographs and projected these onto the paper, letting it catch the outlines of people or faces and allowing the background to blur on to the wall behind. I like how the photographs, like the memories become fragmented and distorted.4 copy.jpg7 copy
